Two weeks back I bought a new mobile phone called Samsung Corby Plus b3410. The main features of the Samsung Corby plus b3410 are the sliding QWERTY keypad and the Touch Screen. This mobile is ideal for internet browsing and very easy to access social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Orkut etc. It also has a 2 MP camera.
I bought this mobile Samsung Corby Plus b3410 at INR 9,300. I am sure you can get this handset even at slight lower rate if you go and get it at the big retailer shop. I got 2 GB external memory with the handset.
The main disadvantages of this mobile are lack of GPS and Wi-Fi, and less memory space. After I bought this Samsung Corby plus b3410, I came to know about another exact mobile with slight higher and better features called Samsung Corby Pro b3510. This mobile has GPS, Wi-Fi and higher external memory and the rate was around INR 12,500. If you have money and want to buy then I suggest you go for Samsung Corby Pro b3510.
Anyway the main features of the Samsung Corby plus b3410 are: -

Hi Akash, you are right. Actually I don’t know the current market price but it’s sure that Samsung Corby plus & pro price has gone down.
I rate I have mentioned above was of 7 months old – December 2009.

Hi clinton, I really don’t know why you hate Samsung Corby so much. I think you would like to explain it.
I can tell you why I personally hate it. It crashes during one of every three text messages you type, the keyboard is too stiff, it’s a total sponge when it comes to water, the T9 SUCKS, and I want to throw this phone at the wall 50% of the time I use it.

samsung corby pro comes with lot of good features ,so dont waste money for samsung corby plus.

again i back to old mobile lg kp 500
i just got the samsung corby plus b3410 yesterday. i absolutely love it. no trouble so far. a very responsive touch screen and useful widgets and applications. the camera is pretty nice for a 2mp, as well as the video. there are alot of different settings on the camera, too. Sepia, negative, emboss, and mosaic shots and frames. its a very fun phone to play around with. i highly recommend it!!

The mobile look and Display Clarity is good but if i go to the conversations section it will get hanged for 10 to 20 seconds so if u know hw to remove tht shortcut in it pls tell me all thought mobile is very Good in every thing leaving tht
yeah i agree with you ….it is taking such a long time to load the conversation.
This phone is garbage. Extremely unintuitive interface. Phone book is hard to navigate. Terrible touchscreen. The games are even worse because no full versions come I landscape.
I got samsung corby plus few days back it is good for browsing internet but i don’t know how to increase the memory of application->games and more b’coz it has only 3.5 MB space which is too low and whenever i read my mail through gmail app. It show low memory space

i had got for 6600rs in June month from india.
i guess, rates will be down till now.
the video player is not so cool, as it has only limited formats to be played
even, u cannot put ur own theme.
u cannot have picture messages in it
msg memory limited to 700msgs
no 3g
so, i guess u will have lot of good phones,in this rate
so, i will say, dont go for this phone.
u will get all the same facilities in phones like mircomax..
u can go for it.
it has very good range and low rates.

Well,first dial *#52828378#…when the java test menu appears,go to OTA test…then u’ll find the “Maximum JAR size” option…u can increase the default value there.

I bought a Samsung B3410 Corby plus about 10th october 2010 about two months ago. I am 15 yrs old and this is my first mobile. I bought it for about 11060 BDT.
before that I read the reviews of this mobile from different sources which was all positive maybe they were all ad.
After buying this I started to meet with some disadvantages mainly with the jar file size. I thought of buying another mobile like nokia 5230 which was also 11000BDT and leave samsung forever but I found out this information about dialing *#52828378#.

So what’s wrong with picture messaging on this phone?
Do you know why you can’t send picture messages? I’ve tried a few times and the person I sent the message to, said they didn’t see any picture, just the text. Is there something I can do to fix this problem?

Got this phone as a Gift…
Seems nice for first few days but after exploring the functions, doesn’t feel that it justifies with the price.
firstly the low Java limit, only 4MB…terrible yaar, how can samsung put a limit to games & application. By dialing special code we can only increase the size of .jar file to be installed but not overall memory, it still shows only 4 MB.
Also the message memory is 700..????? What are in the minds of Samsung i don’t understand??
Poor phonebook navigation, also while on call it gets locked up automatically so every time we need to open the lock to use other features, (like making call on loudspeaker etc.)
Also no direct option of making phone on Silent (like Nokia) when the phone rings & u dont wana attend the call,& for that u had to press the volume key until it becomes mute, thats not good…
Also no WiFi, no inbuild full games (only stupid demos are there)
Atleast they should have provided 1 full version game,,,

Guys i need ur help!!!!! i have 2 sim cards, one is reliance and other is vodafone.Im using free gprs on both .the problem that i am facing is that in my corby’s default web browser i am not able to see images clearly.they look very blurred.I have tried every possible thing but it ain’t work.I have also tried it with ucweb but it didn’t solve my problem.This was not the case with my previous phone that was Rokr E6.Plzzz help me
I own the Samsung Corby Plus for about half a year now. I don’t like to purchase things like internet and games and whatnot so overall for me, it was really great. At first it takes a while to get used to the sensitive touch screen and the fact that the phone gets locked while your on the phone but you get used to it really fast. The camera is really great and you can fill the screen up with anything (from little notepads to alarm clocks).
So far so good for me

SamSung Corby Plus is a worst touch Screen Mobile with very less features… I bought it for Seven thousand and now i am feeling the pain and most disappointed than anyone else. I can’t watch the Video in full size eventhough Landscape option is there… It Supports only 320*240 size Videos only otherwise we can’t watch the Video in full size… I have got few videos from my friend’s mobile through Bluetooth… Video looked very small in corby Plus.. It looks ugly to watch…. It doesn’t support 3G, Wi-FI and it doesn’t support any other formats other than MP4… Please guys don’t buy this mobile and waste your money!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i bought corby plus. i like it, though it doesnt have gps you can download google earth, its the best phone if u use it for social networking, i didnt buy corby pro cause the keyboard is to compact, the problem is it only has 2 themes. but the browser is awsum and i like it, aur aghar yeh app ko samag aya to app kute hain

Terrible phone! I bought this for the qwerty keyboard and texting capabilities, but I have had the same experiences as Gretchen…what’s the point of having a qwerty keyboard when you keep losing whatever you have typed because the phone keeps turning itself off and on while you are composing messages? I contacted Samsung about this problem and they said they had no reports of this issue were unable to recreate the problem…yet everyone I’ve met who has this phone has the same problem, so I find it bizarre that they claim to have no knowledge of this!
Also I don’t like that I can’t use the keypad during a call…whenever I call a business with an automated system, I cannot respond by pressing a number key, and when I can’t respond, I usually get disconnected! (Yes, I know you are supposed to be able to unlock the keyboard with hold key, but it usually doesn’t work and even when it does it is so slow to respond that automated systems miss it!)
If you want to use the internet and/or email functions, this phone is incredibly slow at establishing a connection…but you are being charged from the time you hit enter, NOT from when you actually get online! Sometimes it is so slow that it will crash multiple times before you can even get a connection, but you are paying for all those failed attempts!
And how about the message alert? Instead of just sounding once or twice when a new message arrives, it does it over and over and over again until you open the message: given that the phone company likes to do their automatic topups in the middle of the night, this means the darn thing is waking us up at about 2:00 a.m. at least once a month!
And yesterday I learned that when I am composing a text message, incoming calls on my phone get an automated message stating the phone is out of service!
Summary: I wouldn’t wish this phone on my worst enemy: sending a text is difficult; I keep missing incoming calls; the function keys don’t reliably work the way they are supposed to; and the continuous message alert function is enough to make you want to pitch the damn thing into the nearest trash bin.
I plan to buy this phone but i dont know how good it this. Because i am very new for samsung mobile, so can any one guide me it is good one or not.

I personally tell that not to buy this phone whether it looks or stylish because you have less memory to save the games,apps etc.You also cannot applt themes.But it have good features too like it supports mp4 vids,large screen,sensistive touch,best browser for this phone to surf net is uc browser.
i got the corby plus and its the worst phonne i ever got it doesnt turn on into the middle of a txt it shuts off and takes 2h for it to come back on the batery charge is 4 to 5 hours max for calling its good whenever i use it for that its not very reliable and sucks ass
