Two weeks back I bought a new mobile phone called Samsung Corby Plus b3410. The main features of the Samsung Corby plus b3410 are the sliding QWERTY keypad and the Touch Screen. This mobile is ideal for internet browsing and very easy to access social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Orkut etc. It also has a 2 MP camera.
I bought this mobile Samsung Corby Plus b3410 at INR 9,300. I am sure you can get this handset even at slight lower rate if you go and get it at the big retailer shop. I got 2 GB external memory with the handset.
The main disadvantages of this mobile are lack of GPS and Wi-Fi, and less memory space. After I bought this Samsung Corby plus b3410, I came to know about another exact mobile with slight higher and better features called Samsung Corby Pro b3510. This mobile has GPS, Wi-Fi and higher external memory and the rate was around INR 12,500. If you have money and want to buy then I suggest you go for Samsung Corby Pro b3510.
Anyway the main features of the Samsung Corby plus b3410 are: -

Touchscreen of Samsung corby pro is not working…can anybody tell me how to access phonebook and messages from the keypad.
you cannot, I have the same problem, as my one was washed away in rain. I took it to the repairs, they gave it heat, ow it works more or less..
I am using corby b3410 from a long time. I tried lot of apps. Here is my conclusion. The main problem with this phone is low java memory. Though you can increase the size of jar file to be installed by dialling *#52828378# but not the over all default memory which is 3.5 mb. This limit in the java section has made this phone terrible for playing games. Almost 70% games which works in other phones does not work in it. The palringo messenger always loose connection after 5 min of working. Opera mini 5 and 6 more details.

you can use the normal browser for using facebook….or opera version 4 is the best one to use internet in your mobile phone…

yeah it is a good phone but the great dis-advantage in this phone is the video quality please do mention about it soon. i am not able to get a full screen video in my mobile phone but the video which i took using my mobile phone are pretty perfect to see…

set the convertor on 320*240 in settings. then u will b able to see full screen video only. and better option is to use the convertor which is given with the pc suite. it will surely solve ur problem…….
I have this phone it’s ok. The screen is awfully touchy though.
I do have a problem though. I recently added voice mail, no the vibrate and ringer don’t seem to work, it goes directly to voice mail. I have checked all setting and cannot find a way to correct this.
Also, what is jar. I’m a real newby.

I bought this phone two weeks ago and i love it!!! i text alot and its great i would recomend this phone!! the carmera is good enough and it looks so nice!!! the only thing is (this only happened to me twice) i had low battery and it turned off completly in the middle of m txt but its still amazing so buy this phone!!!
and btw most people have negitive comments about the phone but they r just rude people or they dwell on the negitive!!! this is a fabulos phone!!! great and easy to use for beginers

hey there, i just reset my Samsung b3410 because i needed to get the phone lock for it and forgot mine so therefore i done a reset. well after the phone was reset, i tried going onto the internet but found out that even my internet profiles were wiped off so now i have no internet profile. i don’t know how too get the following:
address number, home url, bearer, port, dns1 (if needed), dns2(if needed)
i don’t know any of those so if anybody knows or would like too help would appreciate it.

This is worst cell… It does not supports youtube videos and its net speed and performance is very bad…
while browsing sites the battery charging may decreased…. Worst phone made by samsung….

The worst and waste phone I never seen. The keypad look is the first worst thing, if u keep in pant, it unlock and will call some one. Messaging is worst, for urgent u cannot take a phone number.no themes can be installed.qwerty key pad,good for nothing.i don’t know why Samsung cheat people.
Guys, please don’t buy this phone. go through the earlier reviews (Specialy Vivek Tiwari and Lance). This phone has many problems. These are the days when you have plenty of apps, Themes & games available in market. You cant install them on this phone. even if you can install some apps & games (Pls Note absolutely No themes) they are limited to 4Mb (that means 3-4 games and apps). Some has suggested that u can increase memory settings but that is limited to increase of installation file size not the default memory of Games and application (4 Mb). that remains same even if u put 8 GB memory card.
Another problem is by chance if your phone receiving button is not working you are helpless. neither u can dial any number nor receive any calls. Like other touch screen mobile phones this phone doesn’t have touch button to receive or dial.
Pls go for other models preferably of other brands than samsung.

Yeah It does Have Remove D battery, Then look at right corner….U’ll find it there….
open the back cover, there u can find this.
memory card slot is underneath battery area. remove the battery and slide open a small slot
I have a samsung B3410.. But the games I install in this phone are not rotated even if i slide out.. The games are not in landscape mode.. Can anyone please tell me how I can rotate the games?

My opinion –
good things – camera, touch screen, qwerty keyboard, security, widgits.
bad things – video quality, doesnt support many video format (shoking mp4 not supporting which is supported by most of chainess mobile), less phone memory, slow internet with by default browser, it hang when open convartation, no thems available on net, doesnt support nokia n95 photo, low expandeble memory.
my old n95 (8gb) is thousand time better than it.
i do not suggest this to anyone. I think nokia 5233 is better in this range.

My problem with this phone is that it doesn’t support Yahoo here. Also, after typing on the web and I want to edit what I’ve typed, it only brings out a small portion of the page and cuts off the rest. It really annoys me and I don’t know what to do about it. Any settings for editing please?

I liked it initially.. but in a year, i started facing all these probs: automatically making calls when kept in pant pocket, 3 keys not working in touchscreen, microphone seems to be of low quality as the ppl at other end cant hear properly etc.. its bugging now as my touchscreen has issues and the warranty has expired. thanks to keypad, otherwise i wudve thrown away the phone out of frustration

and when you have the qwerty keypad just press enter then . use the arrow keys to go to the messages.
*just for messages.

i have this samsung phone. I have many games installed. and for me it’s a nice phone.
i just download the games from a site in the internet and installed it in the phone and it’s really working..
